I understand that 14 days notice of cancellations or changes to delegate’s names must be given and that no refunds can be made after that date. All delegates must attend the whole course and any late arrivals may be refused entry. No refunds will be made to delegates who are refused entry due to late arrival, or who leave early. All bookings are taken on a first come first served basis and if the chosen course is oversubscribed then an alternative venue and/or date will be offered. Stockwood Consulting Limited reserves the right to cancel any course, at any time, and issue a full refund. No certificates will be released until payment has been received in full.

ITC Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid Emergency Action



This Outdoor First Aid Emergency Action  qualification is designed to meet the needs of those working outdoors in rural and remote settings in the UK, and for those who need an 8 hour first aid qualification to meet the needs of Outdoor National Governing Body Instructor Awards, e.g. Climbing Wall Award.

The syllabus covers:

  • Roles and responsibilities of the first aider
  • Dealing with collapse for a casualty who is breathing and not breathing
  • Choking
  • Bleeding
  • Shock
  • Illness and environmental considerations
  • Heat and cold injuries
  • Incident management

For those requiring a longer more in depth course we also offer a 16 Hour Outdoor First Aid Course designed to meet the needs of those working away from immediate assistance in the remote regions of the UK.

Registration for courses is at 8.45am and the course begins at 9.00am, finishing at 6.00pm. If you arrive late then you may not be able to complete the course.
