This three hour session was developed for a PLT session at a dispensing surgery. The aim was to raise awareness of best practise within the dispensary, emphasise the role of written Standard Operating Procedures, the importance of correct endorsing and the Drug Tarrif and how to build in quality assurance processes to manage risk in the dispensary.
The session involved PowerPoint delivery, interactive group exercises and structired discussion. It was delivered to the lead GP, Practice Manager and dispensary staff.
