Being located between Leicester and Northampton, Market Harborough is an excellent location for us to deliver our Emergency First Aid at Work Courses, as well as first aid training in general. Todays course was an Emergency First Aid at Work course, the new one day Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved first aid training course for UK workplaces where they are assessed as being low risk for first aid purposes. The rationale behind the introduction of this course, in October 2009, was to make first aid training more accessible to business, rather than them adopting the minimum provision. Attending today was a gym instructor from Northampton, a horse-riding instructor from Clipston, Leicestershire, and representatives from a home improvements company based in Market Harborough itself. The course instructor related the information and scenarios in the course to make them relevant to all of the candidates and everyone left having demonstrated fantastic first aid skills.
The Angel Hotel is a superb venue to run training events and meetings with excellent facilities and staff who could not be more helpful. With ample parking, a convenient location on major bus routes and just a few minutes walk from the train station it certainly meets our expectations and those of our clients.
