We held our first 12 Hour Paediatric First Aid Course at the Angel Hotel on the 24th and 25th September. Delegates were from the Caterpillar Day Nursery in Market Harborough.
Delegates completed the 12 hour course to meet the needs of the day nursery sector in order to fulfill the duty of care requirements that looking after others entails. In completing the course they also satisfy Ofsted requirements and Early Years Foundation Stage regulatory requirements.
Delegates enjoyed the course and welcomed its practical nature using baby and child manikins as it gave them lots of opportunity to practice, and gain competency and confidence in their first aid skills relevant to the age groups they deal with.
