This qualification is for the sports person, coach, spectator or other involved adult. As well as the topics found in most first aid qualifications this course includes key sports topics such as return to play decisions, managing specialist sports kit such as gum shields and helmets, when to and not to use ice, and sports specific first aid such as managing winding, blows to testicles, dead leg, possible compartment syndrome and other sports related first aid concerns.
This course is to be found upon the National Database of Approved Qualifications (NDAQ), the Learning Aims Database (LAD) and may be eligible for Learning Skills Council (LSC) funding. This Level 2 certificate is suitable for the 16 – 18, 18+ and 19+ age groups. 500/3302/5
