Physical First Aid has been a mandatory requirement for the workplace since 1981 but recent statistics show that nearly half of us will experience a mental health issue in our current job. In January Parliament debated a call for the 1981 Regulations to be amended to also make provision for mental as well as physical first aid. You can read more about it in this article
