Schools will be able to hold stocks of asthma inhalers, containing salbutamol, following changes to the law that will be introduced in October this year. Once the changes in legislation take place, schools will be able to buy inhalers and spacer devices from a pharmaceutical supplier as long as it is not for profit, on an occasional basis, and in small numbers.
