SCL has teamed up with the Angel Hotel, in Market Harborough, to improve the availability of first aid training in the town. HSE statistics demonstrate that in UK workplaces in 2008/2009 29.3 million days were lost overall (1.24 days per worker), 24.6 million due to work-related ill health and 4.7 million due to workplace injury. These statistics are staggering and ensuring that there are adequate numbers of suitably trained staff in your workplace may help to make your workplace safer.
In conjunction with the Angel Hotel, we will be running a series of Emergency First Aid at Work courses, and Basic Skills Refresher courses. These courses are inexpensive and our course delivery can be flexible, delivered over evenings and weekends.
