Description
The Level 3 Paediatric Emergency First Aid Course is the first day (6 hours) of the Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Course (QCF). It is suitable for those who require knowledge and skills of emergency first aid for children and babies.
It is NOT suitable for current Ofsted requirements. The 2-day Level 3 Paediatric First Aid ( QCF) qualification is what is required by Ofsted.
Our courses are fun and interactive and give you lots of practising of the skills you have learned.
Content of our 1 day Paediatric Emergency First Aid Course
Planning for first aid emergencies involving babies and children
Dealing with unconscious babies and children including seizures
Resuscitating babies and children
How to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Recognising and dealing with shock in babies and children
Recognising and responding appropriately to anaphylactic shock in babies and children
Recognising and responding appropriately to bleeding in babies and children
Responding appropriately to choking in babies and children

One baby and child CPR training manikin per 2 participants
Easy to follow individual course manual
A certificate valid for 3 years.
Registration is at 9.00am and the course begins at 9.15am and finishes at 5.00 pm. If you arrive late then you may not be able to complete the course.

Revalidation
This certificate is revalidated by attending another 1 Day Paediatric Emergency First Aid Course in 3 years time.
